The One Page at a Time Program is a no-cost reading motivation program for children in kindergarten through 8th grade. Children may create their own book lists from thousands of recommended titles, read the books, have their mentor sign their Registration and Reading Log, and earn points and rewards for their literary successes. Individual youth will receive recognition for their reading accomplishments. (See Below)

Incentives

The Installation/Program YP POC annotates the total number of books read by each participant on the Interim Incentive Report Form Final Incentive Report Form and forwards the completed form via e-mail to HQ AFSVA/SVPY POCs or forward the completed forms to your MAJCOM Specialist for uploading to SharePoint.  The top 25 readers will receive an additional incentive at the conclusion of the program.  The chart below outlines the incentives available from HQ AFSVA.  Installations are encouraged to provide additional incentives.

NOTE:  Youth may earn one (1) of each item for each reading achievement level.  For Example:  If a child reads 10 books prior to 30 Dec 11 they will receive stickers and one Pen for the Interim Incentives.  The number of books read reflected in the chart (above) reflects a cumulative total.
